Role Purpose

The Project Manager will oversee the planning and delivery of façade and recladding projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Acting as the key point of contact between clients, internal teams, and subcontractors, the Project Manager will provide leadership across project lifecycles, from pre-construction to handover.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

Manages façade and recladding schemes from inception through to completion.

Develops and monitors project programmes, ensuring deadlines are achieved.

Oversees procurement and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.

Financial & Contract Management

*

Controls project budgets, cost reporting, and forecasting.

*

Manages variations, change orders, and contract administration.

*

Works closely with commercial teams to ensure financial performance is maintained.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

*

Acts as the main point of contact for clients, building trust and maintaining strong relationships.

*

Coordinates with architects, consultants, and resident liaison staff to ensure smooth delivery.

*

Provides regular progress updates and attends client meetings.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

*

Ensures all works comply with building regulations, façade fire safety standards, and company policies.

*

Oversees quality inspections and drives snag-free project delivery.

*

Maintains strong site health & safety culture through leadership and monitoring.

Team Leadership

*

Provides direction and leadership to site teams and subcontractors.

*

Resolves issues on site and ensures clear communication between stakeholders.

*

Mentors junior staff and supports professional development within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

*

Proven experience managing façade, cladding, or building envelope projects.

*

Strong background in remediation or recladding projects, with knowledge of fire safety compliance.

*

Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to deliver multiple projects.

*

Strong commercial awareness, including budget control and contract management.

*

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

*

Strong client-facing skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.

Desirable

*

Degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.

*

Knowledge of CWCT standards, rainscreen cladding systems, and fire safety barriers.

Salary: Up to £70,000 (depending on experience).
