Contract Manager

Salary: Circa £48,000 + Company Car/Allowance

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in painting and decorating to join our team in the Leicester area. This role could suit someone who’s previously worked as a working foreman and has stepped up into management, or a seasoned contracts manager well-versed in overseeing painting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage painting and decorating contracts from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Coordinate with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, maintain quality control, and enforce health and safety regulations.

Manage resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project delivery.

Handle any issues that arise on-site and provide effective solutions to keep projects on track.

Requirements:

Proven experience in painting and decorating, ideally with some experience in a supervisory or management role.

Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.

*

Familiarity with health and safety standards in the construction or painting industry.

*

A valid UK driving licence is essential
