Site Agent

RTL Group are currently working with a major tier 1 contractor in their search for a highly skilled site agent, you will be working on a major highways and structures project!

This Role falls outside IR35!!

Reporting to the structures lead you will be responsible for ensuring that the all elements of the project are delivered to the correct quality and in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner. Working collaboratively with the wider project team to deliver successful project outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Lead the structures interface with key stakeholders including but not limited to earthworks, drainage companies, landowners, local businesses.

· Support the commercial and planning teams with the development of cost forecasts and programmes, developing budgets and monitoring of progress.

· Ensure works are supervised on site and delivered in accordance with the Works Information.

· Delivery of structures in line with the programme and the overall project strategy.

· Develop strategies for the delivery of the works.

· Be accountable for the quality of the constructed product.

· Package management of supply chain.

· Manage interactions between the client, stakeholders, delivery partners, designers and on-site team to resolve outstanding design and technical queries.

· Management and review of safe systems of work including RAMS, permits, etc.

· Active participation in project improvement (including innovation, SHE and quality)

· Ensure that records of work done are kept including site diaries, output monitoring, progress reports, quality documentation etc.

· Build effective relationships and develop junior staff.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

· Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, HND, BSc MSc, BEng, MEng).

· Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering complex projects.

· Site Management Safety Training Scheme SMSTS.

· Other relevant training (preferred includes NRSWA, temporary works co-ordination)

· Good written and oral communication skills.

· The ability to manage and control tasks and lead a team

· Willing to mentor and develop junior staff
