Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Traffic Marshall to oversee and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians in designated areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen sense of responsibility, ensuring safety and efficiency in traffic management. This role is crucial for maintaining order during events, construction sites, or busy public areas.

Duties

* Direct traffic flow to ensure the safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians.

* Communicate effectively with drivers and pedestrians to provide clear instructions.

* Monitor and maintain traffic signs, barriers, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order.

* Report any incidents or hazards to the appropriate authorities promptly.

* Collaborate with management to develop effective traffic control plans tailored to specific situations.

* Conduct regular inspections of the area to identify maintenance needs or potential safety issues.

* Assist in training new staff members on traffic management protocols.

Experience

* Previous experience in traffic management or a similar role is preferred but not essential.

* Strong management skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate others.

* Proven driving experience with a valid driving licence is advantageous.

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with diverse groups of people.
