📍 Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire
💷 Salary: £41,900 per annum
🕒 Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (40 hours per week)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a busy estates and facilities team in Oxford. This is a permanent role within a critical environment, offering stability, career progression, and an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

Act as Lead Technician, covering mechanical ventilation, medical gas, and F-Gas systems.
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and installations.
Ensure compliance with statutory and safety requirements.
Supervise and support both contractors and in-house staff.
Mentor and provide technical training to colleagues.
Undertake Authorised Person responsibilities across up to three disciplines.What we're looking for

Recognised mechanical trade apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in a mechanical discipline.
Proven experience in building services maintenance / hard FM.
Strong client focus and ability to take ownership of work.
IT skills including CAFM systems, Word, and Excel.
Willingness to undergo a DBS check.Benefits include
