Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer to join a major live new build housing development. This project will include both housing plots and associated infrastructure works such as roads, drainage, and services, providing a long-term opportunity for the right individual.

The Role

The engineer will be responsible for:

Setting out houses, roads, drainage and services across the development.

*

Carrying out surveys, as-built drawings and QA checks to ensure works are completed accurately.

*

Working closely with the technical manager and site team to provide engineering support and progress reporting.

*

Ensuring all works are set out to programme and in line with design specifications.

*

Providing technical input and supporting problem solving during construction.

Requirements

*

CSCS card (essential).

*

Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent).

*

Strong experience in residential or housing site engineering.

*

Own equipment (preferred but not essential).

*

Competence with setting out, surveying and use of AutoCAD.

*

Good communication skills and ability to work alongside site managers, subcontractors and technical teams.
