Job Advert: Site Manager – East Midlands Prison

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in complex projects? We are looking for a highly skilled professional to lead a critical fire safety improvement (FSI) scheme on a prison in the East Midlands. This is a hands-on role that requires immediate availability and specific security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing all aspects of the fire safety improvement works, including installation, maintenance, and compliance.

Ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standards of safety and quality, within a secure and highly regulated environment.

Managing the site team, subcontractors, and project timelines.

Maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and security protocols.

Liaising with the client and prison staff to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager, specifically on fire safety or similar complex projects.

Active EL1 Security Clearance is Essential. Applications without this will not be considered.

Strong understanding of Fire Safety Improvement (FSI) works.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a high-security environment and manage sensitive information.

CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications are required.
