Trainee Site Engineer Groundworks/Civils

Edge Careers are currently recruiting for x2 'Trainee Site Engineers' for our client.

They are a Groundworks Contractor that predominantly operates within the Residential Sector. They specialise in Roads, Sewers, infrastructure, bulk earthworks and housing plot Groundworks.

My client has x2 opportunities, so I'm looking to speak with candidates that would typically be based to cover the following areas.

• North West Midlands (areas covering – Walsall, Telford, Burton etc)
• South West Midlands (areas covering – Worcester, Evesham, Coventry, Solihull etc)

Role & Responsibilities:
• Learn and assist in the setting Out of works
• Learn and assist with QA checking and record keeping including As Built surveys
• Learn and assist with CAD drawing and processing
• Assist site teams with record keeping
• Become a team member to the site team assigned too

Essential Competencies & Training:
• Good IT skills (primarily Microsoft Word and Excel and a desire to learn Autocad)
• Reliable and resilient
• A desire to learn and develop
• Core values – Good attitude, ambitious & hardworking
• Accurate and numerate with a high attention to detail•
• At least 5 GCSE which are to include Math, English and Science (grades 4-9)
• Driving Licence

• Any existing Groundworks experience/knowledge (beneficial)
