Mobile Electrical Engineer

We are working with a leading Tier 1 MEP contractor renowned for delivering high-quality engineering services across the commercial, retail, and leisure sectors. Due to ongoing project wins and long-term maintenance contracts, they are looking to expand their mobile engineering team with a skilled and motivated Mobile Electrical Engineer.
Role Overview:
As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and small works installation of electrical systems across a portfolio of commercial buildings including offices, retail units, and cinemas. Key Responsibilities:

Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites
*
Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs in a timely manner
*
Diagnose faults and perform repairs to electrical systems, including lighting, power, emergency lighting, and distribution boards
*
Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and health & safety standards
*
Liaise with clients and site contacts in a professional and efficient manner
*
Complete job reports and update the CAFM system
*
Carry out minor installation works as required
Requirements:
*
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
*
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 Testing & Inspection (desirable)
*
Proven experience in a mobile or multi-site role, ideally within commercial environments
*
Full UK driving licence (essential)
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
*
Good communication and customer service abilities
Package:
*
£40,000 – £42,000 per annum (DOE) + £10,000 Extra for Travel Time
