Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join a long established, award winning Main Contractor who undertake refurbishment & fit-out schemes within the Home Counties and London .

Office and site basedbased in a well located area in Stevenage, away from the town centre with plenty of parking

The role – Document Controller

As a Document Controller you will be working across a range of sectors including, healthcare and retail.

Role Purpose:

The main purpose of the Document Controller is that you would be working as a member of the Technical team where you will be supporting and maintaining the information processes from all internal disciplines and external sources ensuring the information is effectively captured and managed for the project documentation and records.

Main Responsibilities would include;

* Coordinating and managing an effective management system in line with the project procedures, focusing on all technical and contractual documentation.
* Manage project documentation through agreed work flows.
* Ensure that documentation issued and subsequent review processes are adhered to in line with our clients' processes.
* Review and update procedures, guidelines and work flows related to the document control process

Ideal Candidate will have ;

* Experience of working as a Document Controller in the Construction Industry.
* Knowledge of working within systems and procedures
* Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* Competent user of office computer systems e.g. Microsoft Office

Salary depends on experience
