Project Manager
My client is a specialist in Fire Protection solutions, and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead their expansion into the Yorkshire region.

The Role
As Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the companies growth across the Yorkshire region. This is a role with genuine autonomy, where you'll be trusted to make decisions, shape processes, and establish a strong regional presence for the business.
Your responsibilities will span both project delivery and commercial growth:
Preconstruction & Pricing Support – assisting with tenders, pricing, and scoping works to ensure accurate, competitive, and compliant bids.
Planning & Coordination – developing programmes of work, resourcing requirements, and ensuring projects are set up for successful delivery.
Health & Safety / Compliance – preparing, reviewing, and monitoring RAMS, ensuring works comply with FIRAS/BMTRADA accreditation standards and industry regulations.
Site Visits & Audits – carrying out regular site inspections, audits, and client progress meetings, maintaining quality and safety across all projects.
Project Delivery – managing passive fire stopping works from start to completion, including coordination of subcontractors, materials, and site teams.
Client Relationship Management – being a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout projects.
Commercial Growth – working with directors to identify and secure new opportunities within the Yorkshire region. Any projects you bring into the business will earn you 1% commission on profit, directly rewarding you for your contribution.
Regional Leadership – over the first 6 months, you'll take the lead in building out a Yorkshire delivery team, with plans to recruit and manage Site Managers as project volumes increase.Projects will typically be within:
High-rise residential apartments
Student accommodation schemes
Schools and educational facilities
About You
They're looking for someone who can bring both technical expertise and commercial drive, including:
Proven experience in passive fire protection / fire stopping
FIRAS or BMTRADA accreditation (essential)
SMSTS and relevant NVQ qualifications
Strong knowledge of project delivery, H&S, and compliance
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ambition to grow into a senior leadership role, with responsibility for building and managing a teamWhat's on Offer
£60,000 basic salary
£5,000 car allowance
15% annual bonus
1% commission on profit from any work you bring in
3% pension match
