Are you a detail-driven Design Manager with strong technical expertise in façades or recladding?
This is your chance to take on complex, high-value projects and play a pivotal role in delivering innovative building solutions. You’ll be managing the full design process from tender through to completion, leading on multiple projects at once and ensuring success at every stage.
What You’ll Be Doing (The Role)

Oversee and coordinate the full design process across multiple façade and recladding projects.
*
Manage delivery phases from tender stage through to final completion.
*
Lead the interface between contractors, suppliers, and external designers.
*
Ensure technical accuracy and compliance of all design outputs.
*
Work closely with the design director, structural engineer, and wider project team.
*
Balance workload across both high-end commercial builds (£5m–£20m) and remedial works in London.
About You
*
Proven experience as a Design Manager, Façade Manager, or similar role in façades, cladding, or construction.
*
Strong technical knowledge, able to demonstrate accuracy and problem-solving in complex design scenarios.
*
Skilled in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
*
Motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to influence and coordinate external stakeholders.
*
Based within commutable distance to London or Essex , with flexibility to attend sites as required.

Their expertise spans both premium commercial façades and remedial recladding schemes, with typical project values of £5m–£20m. The design function is at the heart of their success, and you’ll be joining a collaborative team of six design managers, working closely with a highly experienced leadership group.
