Health and Safety Advisor

PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Demolition Sector to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to Join their Health & Safety team on a permanent basis. This role with be based in the West Midlands and will involve working within Demolition and Remediation Projects.

Health & Safety Advisor Roles and Responsibilities

Championing a positive safety culture by leading by example on-site.
Advising Directors and Managers on health, safety, and welfare compliance.
Conducting audits, site inspections, and accident investigations.
Developing and implementing project-specific safety plans in collaboration with site teams.
Producing risk assessments and ensuring safe working methods are followed.
Engaging with clients and stakeholders as the key point of contact for H&S.
Reporting and acting on near-misses and RIDDOR incidents.
Promoting our Behavioural Safety Program across all levels of the business.Health & Safety Advisor Requirements

NVQ 6 in Occupational Health and Safety or NEBOSH Diploma
Experience working within Demolition, Civil Engineering or construction is Essential (Preferably Demolition Experience)
Good Communication skill with Operatives and clients
CMIOSH or working towards
Strong working knowledge of H&S legislation and its practical application on-site.
Safety behaviour training/Mental health awareness

Salary £40,000 – £50,000
Based in Birmingham (With Travel)
