The Chartered Building Surveyor Role
The successful Chartered Building Surveyor will focus on delivering high-quality surveying services across a diverse portfolio, including commercial, residential, and institutional projects. Responsibilities will include:
Conducting pre-acquisition and condition surveys
Managing dilapidations and party wall matters
Overseeing contract administration and project management
Preparing specifications, schedules, and technical reports
Advising on property acquisition, development, and asset management strategies
Supporting sustainability initiatives and decarbonisation efforts

The Successful Chartered Building Surveyor Will Have
Qualifications:
MRICS qualified (essential)
Degree in Building Surveying or related field
Knowledge & Attributes:
Proven experience within a building consultancy environment
Strong technical expertise in building pathology, contract administration, and project delivery
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Commitment to sustainability and innovation in building design and performance
