The Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team in Manchester. You’ll support the Facilities Manager in ensuring the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of Heron House. From managing suppliers to supporting financial planning, your role will be essential in delivering excellent facilities management for our client.
What You’ll Do

Support the Facilities Manager in delivering the account strategy.

Maintain systems to support day-to-day operations.
*
Oversee CAFM systems for planned and reactive works.
*
Assist with resource planning to meet operational needs.
*
Manage and monitor supplier performance to deliver best value.
*
Support the commercial team with budget control, compliance, and financial planning.
*
Contribute to quotes and business cases for additional works.
What We’re Looking For

Experience in facilities management or a related field.

Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Strong organisational and communication skills.
*
Confidence in supporting financial and operational processes.

A collaborative approach, with the ability to guide and support others.
