A leading and well-established HVAC, electrical and renewable energy services specialist has an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join their growing team.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and leading the service department, this role is perfect for an experienced building services professional who enjoys both operational leadership and strategic involvement. You'll be responsible for managing a team of 8 engineers, along with a Works Manager, Site Manager and Contracts Manager, ensuring smooth delivery of projects and maintenance works across London and the Midlands. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing site personnel, including engineers and management staff.
Managing operations across two Central London offices with work stretching from London to Birmingham.
Deputising for managers when required, maintaining smooth service delivery.
Promoting safe working practices, high standards, and effective communication across all teams.
Supporting the technical development and training of engineers.
Acting as on-call manager on a rota basis.
Providing operational, commercial, and customer-facing leadership to ensure projects and maintenance are delivered on time, to specification, and profitably.
Service Manager will be on a basic salary of up to £50,000, depending on experience + 5% net bonus after probation + electric vehicle + charge card + 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) + laptop + phone.To be successful as the Service Manager, you will have:
A strong background in building services with technical knowledge of air conditioning, air handling, chilled water, condense water, and ventilation (including heat reclaim).
Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & valid F-Gas certification.
Experience managing teams and delivering service excellence across multiple sites.The Service Manager will be on a basic salary of up to £50,000, depending on experience + 5% net bonus after probation + electric vehicle + charge card + 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) + laptop + phone.
