They work across a range of sectors—Commercial, Social Housing, Education, and Healthcare—serving both public and private clients, including local authorities, housing associations, Tier 1 contractors, and private developers.

The Role

The contractor is seeking a proficient Project Manager to lead a new-build contract consisting of multiple high-rise residential blocks at Canary Wharf. You will oversee the delivery of a comprehensive passive fire protection package—covering firestopping, compartmentation, penetration sealing, cavity barriers, acoustic sealing, and fire door installation.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage full project lifecycle—from planning through to final handover.

Coordinate on-site deliveries of passive fire protection works (firestopping, compartmentation, sealing, coatings, fire doors).

Maintain strict compliance with fire safety regulations and FIRAS standards.

*

Align project delivery with the contractor’s high-quality expectations.

*

Client laision.

*

Monitor budgets, timelines, and resources; escalate issues and mitigate risks proactively.

*

Report on project progress, commercial performance, and compliance status as needed.

Your Profile

*

Proven experience in managing passive fire protection projects, particularly in high-rise or new-build residential environments.

*

Strong technical knowledge of fire door systems, firestopping techniques, compartmentation, intumescent coatings, and acoustic/fire sealing.

*

FIRAS qualification or equivalent accreditation highly desirable.

*

Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.

*

Capable project and budget management proficiency.

*

Highly collaborative, with stakeholder management strengths across public-sector and commercial domains.

Salary: £50,000–£60,000 per annum
