Junior Project Manager
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join a team delivering fire protection and sprinkler installation projects across London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in project management, having already achieved the Association for Project Management (APM) Project Management Qualification (PMQ), and now looking to develop their career within the construction sector.
You will support senior project managers in the planning and delivery of multiple projects, while gradually taking ownership of smaller projects and packages of work. This role will give you hands-on exposure to client-facing responsibilities, contractor management, and compliance within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the delivery of sprinkler installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Take ownership of smaller-scale projects or project workstreams, under the guidance of senior project managers.
* Support in developing project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
* Track project performance, managing risks, issues, and changes effectively.
* Attend client and contractor meetings, preparing accurate reports and progress updates.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health & safety requirements, and company procedures.
* Coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams to resolve project challenges.
* Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
Requirements
* APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) – Essential.
* Previous experience in a project support, coordination, or junior project management role (construction or M&E experience desirable).
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to fast-paced environments.
* Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) or equivalent project management tools.
* Willingness to work onsite in London 4 days per week.
