Trainee Estimator

A client of ours in the Earls Colne area are recruiting a Trainee Estimator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday – Friday (core hours being 9.00am – 5.00pm) and paying £21,000 – £25,400 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

Evaluating drawings to produce an accurate take-off/marked-up area of the project.
To produce accurate quotations that reflect the clients requirements.
Updating the bespoke software to reflect the current status of your quotation.
Responding in a professional and timely manner to clients when required.
To liaise internally with other teams regarding projects.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Trainee Estimator position:

Excellent communication skills
Proficient in using the Microsoft programmes
Building and Construction industry knowledge is desirable but not essential
GCSE Maths graded C (4/5) or above
