We are seeking a highly motivated, forward-thinking and results-oriented Digital Transformation Manager to lead Colemans to a more efficient, paperless, and technology-driven future. You will play a pivotal role in identifying areas for improvement, researching, designing and implementing innovative digital solutions, and ensuring successful adoption across all departments.
In this role, you will be working under your own initiative, prioritizing your workload and achieving deadlines. You’ll also be an effective communicator, able to simplify processes and technical terminology for colleagues at all levels, ensuring everyone is on the same page throughout the project lifecycle – a key value here at Colemans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of our current paper-based processes, including forms, approvals, and data management.
- Identify opportunities for automation, data analysis, and digital transformation throughout the organisation.
- Research and evaluate construction management software solutions (CMMS) and custom-develop digital tools using relevant technologies (e.g., online forms, document management systems) to streamline specific processes.
- Develop and implement standard digital templates for commonly used forms, permits, and reports.
- Integrate digital solutions with existing systems (if applicable) to ensure seamless data flow and improve project visibility.
- Oversee the implementation and user adoption of new digital tools, providing training and support to all employees.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for all digital processes and procedures. Ensuring user-friendliness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor the performance of digital solutions and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in the construction and demolition industry. Particularly those related to construction tech and safety innovation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (project management, operations, safety, IT) to ensure successful digital adoption and project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent (preferred).
Additional Skills (desirable)
- Preferably experience in Construction or Engineering background (but not necessary)
- Strong understanding of demolition workflows, safety protocols, and permitting processes.
- Experience with construction management software (CMMS) with demolition-specific features.
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives within a construction or demolition company (highly preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing workflows and improving efficiency.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively train and support a diverse workforce.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a changing environment.
- Knowledge of document management systems.
- Certifications in Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) a plus.
- Understanding of data analysis tools and ability to generate reports.
