Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS/QS) – Exciting £60m JCT D&B Project
Location: Oxford (with potential freelance/full-time flexibility)

We are working on behalf of a leading main contractor to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS/QS) for a landmark £60m shell and core project in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS looking to gain significant experience on a high-profile build.

The Project:

JCT Design & Build Main Contract

*

Shell and core project (fit out may be negotiated)

*

Groundworks, concrete frame, envelope, M&E (single contractor) and roofing packages already awarded

*

Supported by a QS team: Lead Senior QS, SQS/QS (this role), Apprentice QS

*

Use of a proprietary accounting software

The Role:

*

Support the Lead Senior QS on-site and help manage the QS team

*

Work across all cost management, valuations, and contract administration tasks

*

Potential for freelance full-time onsite working given Oxford location

*

If recruited permanently, opportunity to progress into the lead QS role post-project completion

The Ideal Candidate:

Experienced SQS or ambitious QS ready to step up

*

Confident managing cost reporting, valuations, and subcontractor agreements

*

Comfortable working on a fast-paced, high-value D&B project

*

Flexible regarding location (Oxford-based site initially, then Heage office if permanent)
