You will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and contract management on projects from inception to completion. They work spans across housing, commercial, and public buildings including schools, healthcare facilities, and residential blocks with a strong focus on refurbishment and fire remediation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage detailed project budgets, cost plans, and valuations of up to 4 projects at a time – typical values £500K to £2M
Manage tender processes and appoint subcontractors
Administer contracts and manage commercial risk
Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety and construction regulations
Produce accurate monthly reports and final accounts
Liaise with clients from both public and private sectors, ensuring expectations are met
Provide cost advice and value engineering solutions throughout the project life cycle
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and support project delivery teams Requirements:

Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within refurbishment and fire remediation
Experience working with both public and private sector clients
Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts
Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Ability to reverse engineer a project from inception to completion
Strong written and verbal communication
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience)
Full UK driving license What They Offer:
