Freelance Highways Site Engineer, £350 – £500 per day, Sheffield
Freelance Site Engineer Role – Highways Project – Long Term Contract 6 – 12 months
Your new company
You will be joining a forward-thinking and innovative Tier 1 contractor whose main purpose is to build a better society with a customer-focused mindset. This contractor has an exciting opportunity working on a repairs and reactive maintenance project in the Sheffield area which you will be a part of.
Your new role
You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the construction of multiple drainage systems across the highways project, which will involve attenuation tanks and establishing compounds. Furthermore, you will be writing temporary work design briefs and keeping an accurate and detailed site record of all works. You will be contributing to a successful working environment.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will need experience as a Site Engineer on Highways projects with a focus on groundworks, earthworks and drainage. Furthermore, you will have a valid CSCS card, a National Highways passport is desired but not essential.
