Role: Graduate Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Remote working environment – Projects across the Home Counties & London

Salary: Up to £30,000 + 4,000 car allowance + attractive benefits package

WRG is excited to support an independent risk management consultancy that operate across the UK. In recent years the business has heavily invested in their safety & compliance team and this has grown significantly, our client has developed an excellent reputation in the sector which has led to them winning repeat work and being appointed on various frameworks.

Due to this continued success, they are now looking to appoint a Graduate Health & Safety/ CDM professional to join their established safety team and oversee a diverse portfolio of property & construction projects across the Home Counties and into London and the South East.

Our client typically work on residential (public sector), healthcare, education, retail, leisure and commercial projects to ensure that the projects meet H&S and CDM 2015 compliance. The role would suit someone who has previous site experience and would like to take a side step in their career or a recent Graduate who is looking to forge a career within health & safety.

Duties:

* Offer a variety of health & safety/ CDM services to a diverse client base.

* Manage a portfolio of projects representing Clients, Principal Designers and other CDM duty holders

* Compile pre construction information packs, construction phase plans, submit F10 documents and manage the H&S file from projects inception through to completion.

* Liaise with various stakeholders on projects – client, principal contractor, architect and keep them updated in relation to H&S/ CDM matters.

* Ensure that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are in place for each project.

* Carry out site inspections and accident investigations when required.

* Develop client relationships and build new ones.

Requirements:

* NEBOSH Construction or NEBOSH General or equivalent.

* Previous construction site experience (desirable but not essential).

* Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

* Positive attitude and willing to learn and develop.

* Full UK driving license.
