Site Manager
We are actively seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage day-to-day operations on a busy construction site. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
You will be managing a team of trades and subcontractors, liaising with clients, and reporting directly to the Project Manager or Contracts Manager.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all on-site activities to ensure smooth project delivery
*
Supervise subcontractors, labour, and materials
*
Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times
*
Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety checks
*
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources
*
Report on progress to senior management and clients
*
Coordinate with suppliers and order materials as required
*
Maintain accurate site records and documentation
*
Attend meetings and provide input on construction planning
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential or commercial projects
*
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – essential
*
CSCS Black or White Card – essential
*
First Aid at Work – essential
*
NVQ Level 6 or above in Construction Management (preferred)
*
Strong leadership and communication skills
*
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
*
Good IT skills and familiarity with project management software
*
Full UK driving licence
