Job Title: Working Foreman – Solar Farm Project
Location: East Hanningfield, Essex
Start Date: End of October 2025
Duration: 11 Months (long-term contract)
Rate: £23.00 – £26.00 per hour (PAYE through agency)

The Role

We are looking for a skilled Working Foreman to join the construction of a large-scale solar farm in East Hanningfield, Essex. This role combines hands-on work with supervisory responsibilities, supporting both the Site Manager and Supervisor to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Leading by example with a “hands-on” approach to site work

Supervising trades and labour to ensure productivity and quality

Enforcing site health & safety standards

Assisting with scheduling, inductions and toolbox talks

Reporting daily progress and any issues to the Site Supervisor/Manager

Requirements

Valid SSSTS qualification (essential)

Proven track record as a Foreman on construction or renewable energy projects (solar experience an advantage)

CSCS card preferred

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to balance on-the-tools work with supervision duties
