Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator with a background in commercial projects?

My client is looking for someone who has cut their teeth working for a UK-based electrical subcontractor, confidently pricing jobs in the £100k to £2m range and using Trimble and Bluebeam.

About the Role

This is a hands-on Estimator position focused on a broad range of commercial projects including:
✔️ Office developments
✔️ Hotels
✔️ Schools
✔️ Hospitals

Theyre not looking for someone from a nuclear, manufacturing, food industry or residential background. This role is focused on general electrical estimating, not specialist-only disciplines like fire alarms or CCTV.

You'll be comfortable taking on design & build / clean-sheet projects, often from early-stage concepts – more than just pricing from 100-page tender packs. They need someone who understands how to build up a job from scratch and think beyond what's already been drawn.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Minimum 5 years' experience in the UK electrical contracting industry

Proven experience estimating commercial electrical works from £100k to £2m

Strong knowledge across full electrical packages including:

Distribution

Lighting

Small power

Containment

Fire alarm, access control, CCTV, etc.

A background working for electrical subcontractors, not Tier 1 contractors or purely M&E consultants

Confidence working on design & build projects, able to work from minimal drawings

Based within a 1-hour commute of Warrington-Halifax corridor
