Site Manager – Plymouth
Due to continued growth, a well-established main contractor is looking for experienced Site Managers to join their team and deliver high-quality projects across the region.

About the Role
As a Site Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the successful delivery of projects ranging in value from £100k to £3m. You’ll oversee all operational aspects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. This role will involve working closely with Contracts Managers, liaising with the supply chain, and leading site-based teams to achieve project success. While travel will be mainly local, some flexibility will be required.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are delivered to agreed programmes and quality standards.
Oversee health & safety compliance on site, ensuring all statutory requirements are met.
Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, building strong working relationships.
Report progress and resolve any issues to maintain project timelines.
Support pre-construction teams in developing tenders where required.
Requirements

Proven experience in a client-facing Site Manager role.
A strong operational track record, ideally with a trade background.
Current SMSTS and First Aid certification (essential).
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
