First People Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading UK housebuilder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality homes across Scotland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team and oversee new residential developments in the Edinburgh area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with a healthy pipeline of projects and a strong track record of progression.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day operations on-site ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to quality standards

Manage subcontractors, trades, and direct labour effectively

Monitor build programmes and drive progress

Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance on site

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth delivery

Oversee quality assurance, snagging, and handovers

Requirements:
✅ Proven experience as a Site Manager within the housebuilding sector
✅ SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification essential
✅ Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
✅ Track record of delivering housing developments to NHBC standards
