In this role, you'll manage a caseload of apprentices, carrying out workplace assessments, training, and reviews. You'll support learners in building portfolios of evidence, prepare them for End Point Assessment, and ensure their knowledge, skills, and behaviours meet industry standards. You'll also work closely with employers, training providers, and awarding bodies to keep learning relevant, engaging, and impactful.
The ideal candidate will have strong industry experience in plant maintenance or construction, hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline, and either hold (or be willing to achieve) Assessor Awards. Excellent organisation, communication, and mentoring skills are essential, as is a passion for supporting apprentices to achieve their goals.

The role
Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
Mobile role with national travel
Managing and assessing a caseload of apprentices in Plant Maintenance
Delivering on- and off-the-job training in both theory and practical elements
Preparing apprentices for End Point Assessment
Providing regular written and verbal feedback to learners
Building strong relationships with employers and industry stakeholders
Autonomy to manage your own diary and workload

The person
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Plant Maintenance or related construction discipline
Relevant industry experience in plant maintenance/construction
Specialist licence-to-practice qualifications where required
Assessor Awards (or willingness to achieve within one year)
Strong communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
IT literate (Microsoft Office 365)
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
Enhanced DBS check required
