Civils Site Manager
The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Construction Professionals South are recruiting for a Civils Site Manager to join a
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations
Conducting regular site inspections, toolbox talks and risk assessments
Promoting a safety- first culture on site
Maintaining site paperwork
Managing and coordinating site operatives, subcontractors and operators
Allocating work and ensuring effective workforce management
Ensuring all staff are briefed on daily tasks and safety requirements
Keeping accurate records of site activities (diary diaries, progress reports)
Reporting on progress, risks, delays and issues to senior management
Acting as the main point of contact
Ensuring correct execution of road construction and resurfacing, drainage and kerbing etc.
Understanding NRSWA Regulations, Section 278 works and highway authority standards. The ideal candidate will have/be:
Proven experience as a Site Manager doing highways and heavy civils
Strong background in Section 278
Previous experience managing NRSWA
Relevant tickets- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
Excellent communication skills
Great understanding of groundworks, deep drainage.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
