Quantity Surveyor

Waites Recruitment Consultancy are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a strong fire background for a client of mine based in London.

My clients specialises in cladding, block restoration, and fire compartmentation works.
The vacancy is for a Quantity Surveyor (fire focus), full-time and office-based at Chancery Lane (with some WFH flexibility where needed).
This role has been created due to the increased workload from schools and developers, including BSR jobs and Gateway 2 & 3 projects.
Requirements

Ideally 10+ years’ QS experience, or at least 8 years with strong fire background (minimum 5 years in fire).
Proven experience in fire compartmentation and fire doors.
Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, technical capability, and practicality — not just large-project exposure.
Package

Salary: £75,000 – £95,000, depending on level and experience.
Benefits: 20–23 days’ holiday, laptop/equipment provided, train fares covered if travel is required outside London (no car allowance or health cover).
