We’re currently supporting a leading Independent Connection Provider in the North West who is seeking an experienced LV Jointer to support ongoing 11kV infrastructure projects.

This is a contract opportunity with an immediate start available. You’ll primarily be responsible for LV jointing on substation upgrade projects, with the potential to support switching operations depending on your experience and authorisations.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out LV jointing works on 11kV networks

*

Work on underground cables, link boxes, and associated infrastructure

*

Support HV/SAP engineers as needed on site

*

Follow strict safety and operational procedures

*

Potential to support switching operations if authorised

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in LV jointing (11kV networks)

*

Valid industry-recognised jointing qualifications

*

ENW Authorisation (or recent ENW experience – highly desirable)

*

CSCS / SHEA Power certification

*

Strong awareness of DNO/IDNO safety procedures

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

*

HV switching experience

*

Prior work with ICPs or DNOs (e.g. ENW, UKPN, SSEN)

*

First Aid, Manual Handling, and Asbestos Awareness certificates
