Sprinkler Service Manager
We’re seeking an experienced Sprinkler Service Manager to lead our client’s service & maintenance division. You’ll manage client relationships, oversee compliance with LPC rules (TB203 & GN12), schedule and support engineers, and drive new business opportunities. The role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to lead teams and subcontractors while ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are maintained.
Key Requirement:
* Will have at least 5 years’ experience working within the Sprinkler Fire Protection industry, supervising/managing Service & Maintenance Works
* Have a passion to drive new business. The client's has an established and loyal customer base, offering numerous opportunities for further networking and growth.
* Would demonstrate good technical problem-solving skills using their technical knowledge and industry experience to provide commercially cost-effective solutions to the client.
* Effectively manage the service engineer team. Monitor engineer skill sets, identify training needs, and provide guidance and support.
* To provide leadership and direction with the execution of tasks and business processes to the business support team (Internal).
* To have an understanding of the LPS1048 Standard/TB203 Rules would be an advantage, as this needs to be adhered to in everyday processes of the service & maintenance department.
* Internally – i.e. quoting/verification of engineer report sheets, ensuring quotations advise client on compliance required
* Externally – i.e. ensuring the engineer carries out their maintenance works to the levels required by the standard and all associated paperwork is completed accurately. As well as being involved in external audits with BRE.
* Any electrical knowledge is a bonus
What they're offering:
* £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (Can go higher, it is really all dependent on the individual's experience. Not only technically, but also the ability to demonstrate business growth.)
