Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per annum + benefits
Contract: Permanent, full-time

The Role

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager with 2–3 years of construction project management experience to join our team in Loughborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate-level construction professional to develop their career while working on specialist height safety installation projects across the UK.

As a Project Manager in construction, you will report directly to a senior manager and play a key role in project delivery. You will be office-based in Loughborough, with 1–2 days per week visiting sites.

Responsibilities

Manage construction project schedules, client updates, and progress reports.

*

Liaise with clients, schedulers, designers, purchasing, and accounts teams.

*

Coordinate materials and bills of quantities for projects.

*

Provide site cover with fitting teams when required.

*

Ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and in line with safety requirements.

*

Resolve day-to-day project challenges and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

*

Graduate in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

*

2–3 years’ experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Site Manager.

*

Valid CSCS card.

*

Strong understanding of construction drawings and the build process.

*

Knowledge of health & safety within the construction industry.

*

Tenacious, confident communicator who can manage multiple stakeholders.
