About the Role

You will be joining as a Quantity Surveyor in the commercial fit-out/refurbishment division. Reporting to the Contracts/Commercial Manager, you’ll handle cost management throughout project lifecycles—from estimating and tendering, through interim valuations, subcontractor procurement, variation control, to final accounts. You’ll liaise with design, project & site teams to ensure cost integrity, contractual compliance, and value optimisation on every job. You’ll also assist with cashflow forecasting and commercial reporting to support senior management decision-making.

Requirements

*

Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar discipline

*

Minimum 4-5 years’ proven experience in Quantity Surveying in commercial fit-out / refurbishment projects

*

Strong knowledge of contract types (JCT / NEC or similar), variation management, and final accounts preparation

*

Skilled in interim valuations, cash flow forecasting, cost reporting & commercial controls

*

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to collaborate with design, site, procurement, and senior management

*

High attention to detail, strong analytical mindset, ability to spot and manage risk early

*

Experience in negotiating with subcontractors / suppliers and managing procurement commercially
