About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Document Controller to join our client’s dynamic project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of technical documentation across complex, large-scale projects, supporting the delivery of world-class facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate all activities related to document control procedures, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
* Provide technical management of document control platforms (ACC and Procore).
* Carry out quality assurance checks on submitted documentation in line with client and project standards.
* Monitor due dates for drawings and technical submittals according to milestones.
* Manage the Request for Information (RFI) process and document status tracking.
* Control creation, approval workflows, and version management of project documents.
* Oversee the production and management of As-built documentation with the Project/Design team.
* Ensure documents are securely stored, retrievable, and protected against damage or loss.
* Generate document control reports and ensure accurate archiving of records.
* Contribute to the development and improvement of document control systems, tools, and processes.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in a Document Control role, ideally within construction or engineering.
* Hands-on experience with Aconex or other document management systems.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication abilities across all levels of a business.
