About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Estimator to be based in our Manchester division. In this role you will lead on producing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for fit-out and refurbishment projects. You will analyse architectural and engineering drawings, collaborate with design teams and supply chain, prepare bills of quantities, value engineer, manage subcontractor and supplier quotes, and ensure estimates are viable, profitable, and aligned with project goals. You’ll work closely with commercial leadership to support bid strategy and decision-making.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an Estimator (or similar) in the fit-out / refurbishment / commercial interiors sector

*

Strong technical understanding: take-offs, cost planning, value engineering, subcontractor & supplier pricing

*

Excellent commercial awareness, including understanding risk, margins, and cost control

*

Ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and spot design / scope issues early

*

Excellent communication & negotiation skills; ability to work with internal teams, clients and supply chain

*

Proficient with estimating software tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

*

Relevant qualifications (e.g. Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent) preferred
