About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s established commercial team. This role offers the chance to contribute to unique and historically significant projects, where quality, detail, and expertise are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all commercial aspects of restoration and conservation projects from inception to completion.

* Prepare accurate cost plans, bills of quantities, and tender documents.

* Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and contract administration.

* Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts.

* Provide robust commercial advice and risk management to project teams.

* Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and heritage stakeholders to ensure project success.

* Ensure delivery within budget while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Skills & Experience Required

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within restoration, conservation, or specialist construction.

* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management.

* Excellent attention to detail and financial acumen.

* A proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects.

* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, leaseholders, tenants, and retailers.
