Section Engineer

We are working in partnership with a well-established civil engineering contractor who are seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join their growing team in Central Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a range of major infrastructure and construction projects.

As Section Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
* Managing day-to-day site engineering activities.
* Overseeing setting out, quality assurance, and compliance with technical specifications.
* Supervising site engineers and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
* Supporting project planning, risk management, and progress reporting.
* Maintaining accurate site documentation and records.

The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate:
* Previous experience as a Section Engineer in civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
* Strong technical knowledge with the ability to manage setting out and site controls.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior engineers.
* A relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent).
* CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS desirable.
