Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor | Residential Main Contractor | Walthamstow | Sept 2025

An opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join a respected main contractor, taking on commercial responsibility across varied schemes while being based out of their Woodford office.

You'll be office-based with 1 – 2 site visits a week, working closely with the commercial team to manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, and cost reporting. The role is suited to someone ready to hit the ground running experienced enough to work independently, but not looking to be pushed into a senior role too soon.

The Role
•Quantity Surveyor role with a leading main contractor
•Office-based, with 1 2 site visits per week
•Managing subcontractor accounts, payments, and valuations
•Preparing and reviewing variations, cost comparisons, and CVRs
•Liaising with site teams to ensure projects run on budget and programme
•Exposure to a broad mix of commercial and residential schemes

What they're looking for
•Minimum 3 years' post-graduation experience with a main contractor
•Background in commercial or residential projects preferred
•Driving licence helpful but not essential
•Within 4560 minutes' commute of Walthamstow
