Site Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major earthworks package on a large-scale infrastructure project based in Hertford. This is a freelance contract expected to run for 4 months, with the potential for further work beyond.

Responsibilities:
*
Setting out for bulk earthworks, drainage and enabling works
*
Managing QA and site documentation
*
Liaising with site management, subcontractors and the wider engineering team
*
Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with design and specifications
*
Conducting site surveys and as-builts
Requirements:
*
Proven experience on large earthworks or civils projects
*
Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or similar
*
Proficiency with AutoCAD and surveying equipment (GPS, Leica/Trimble etc.)
*
CSCS card
*
Right to work in the UK
