Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major RC Structures package for HS2 in Birmingham. This is a long-term freelance opportunity with work expected to run for 18 months.

Project: HS2 – Reinforced Concrete (RC) Structures

Duration: 18 months

*

Rate: £350 – £450 per day

*

Start Date: ASAP

Role & Responsibilities:

*

Setting out for reinforced concrete structures including foundations, columns, walls, and slabs

*

Managing quality assurance and site records

*

Coordination with site teams, subcontractors, and design teams

*

Ensuring works are carried out in line with project specifications and safety standards

*

Supporting senior engineers and contributing to progress reporting

Requirements:

*

Minimum 3 years' experience working on RC structures within civil engineering

*

Previous experience on major infrastructure projects (HS2 experience advantageous)

*

Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent

*

Proficient in AutoCAD and setting out using Leica/Trimble or similar equipment

*

CSCS card

*

Right to work in the UK
