The Company
We’re working with a well-known main contractor that has built up a great reputation across the UK and Ireland. With a turnover of over £100m, they’ve got a strong order book, plenty of repeat clients, and a solid mix of projects on the go. They’re active across both residential and commercial schemes, usually with package values between £10m and £30m, and they’ve got more work kicking off in London that needs the right people in place.
The Role
They’re now looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team in London. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day safety management of live sites, supporting project teams and making sure everything runs to the right standards.
Your role will include:
* Helping to implement and enforce health and safety policies.
* Putting together risk assessments, method statements, and construction phase plans.
* Carrying out site inspections and audits.
* Working closely with site teams to promote a strong health and safety culture.
* It’s a good opportunity for someone who wants to build on their experience with a main contractor and work on some sizeable projects.
What You’ll Need
* A NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or General Certificate) – this is a must.
* At least a year’s experience as a Health and Safety Advisor, ideally with a main contractor.
* A good understanding of CDM regulations and site safety standards.
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with different site teams.
