Our client, a specialist joinery contractor, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Document Controller to join their team. This is a pivotal role in ensuring that project documentation is managed effectively, protocols are adhered to, and information is distributed accurately across multiple stakeholders.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth communication and document management across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

Enforcing document control protocols and procedures.

Uploading and downloading documents to CDE portals.

Tracking, transmitting, and archiving project documentation.

Acting as administrator for the internal project portal.

Conducting quality control checks on documentation.

Printing and issuing drawings and project documents.

Liaising with contractors and subcontractors to ensure document flow.

General office administration, including answering phones.

Carrying out ad hoc tasks such as station runs for collections/drop-offs.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a document control or administration role within construction or joinery is desirable.

Strong working knowledge of Asite, Aconex, or Procore (essential).

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Strong IT skills with the ability to manage digital document systems.

Confident communicator able to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal staff.

Proactive and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Full UK driving licence (essential due to location and occasional travel).
