Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Senior Estimator to join a well-established main contractor based in Worcester. Specialising in high-quality construction projects across a range of sectors including education, healthcare, residential, and commercial, this is a key role within a progressive and forward-thinking team.
This position is ideal for an estimator who enjoys taking ownership of tenders, contributing to strategy, and helping to secure a strong pipeline of work.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and submission of accurate, timely and competitive tenders.

Work closely with the pre-construction and commercial teams to develop winning strategies.
*
Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
*
Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
*
Participate in tender adjudication meetings and provide cost advice and risk assessments.
*
Contribute to value engineering proposals and identify opportunities for savings.
*
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
About You:

Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in the construction industry, ideally with a main contractor.
*
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
*
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
*
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
*
Strong commercial awareness and ability to work to tight deadlines.
*
Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments.
