Senior Quantity Surveyor – Freelance

TRIbuild Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a major project at Heathrow. This is a freelance role expected to run for 6-8 months, with potential extension.

Duties include:

Managing multiple work packages: logistics, firestopping, dry lining, civils & groundworks, architectural metalwork, builders' works in connection, traffic management.

Procurement, ITT analysis, contract drafting, and day-to-day contract administration.

Preparing and agreeing applications for payment; reviewing site records and actual costs.

Leading supplier audits; change account management; budget control.

Producing monthly cost reports, forecasts, and supporting Contract Leader reports.

Interfacing with client, site teams, and supply chain representatives.

Maintaining registers of variations, delays/EOTs, and claims; implementing company commercial procedures.

Advising the project team on contractual matters and ensuring HSE compliance awareness.

Requirements:

Proven Senior QS experience in construction/engineering.

Strong financial/contractual knowledge and commercial acumen; contract administration expertise.

CEMAR user experience preferred.

Data/trend analysis and forecasting skills; able to lead multidisciplinary meetings.

Degree qualified (or in final stages); chartered or working towards chartership (RICS/ICES/equivalent).
