Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out expert garden maintenance including lawns, hedges, borders, irrigation, terraces, and pathways.

* Pruning, shaping, and training plants, from perennials to orchard trees.

* Supporting the development of landscapes by adding new planting and refreshing existing schemes.

* Building positive relationships with clients and offering guidance on garden care.

* Assisting with the training and mentoring of junior gardeners.

Requirements

* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in garden maintenance or horticulture.

* Good knowledge of plants and garden care techniques.

* Horticulture qualification at Level 2 or higher (preferred).

* UK driving licence (essential).

Skills and Qualities

* Strong work ethic with a genuine passion for gardening.

* Excellent plant knowledge and practical skills.

* Clear communication and the ability to work well with clients, colleagues, and designers.

* Positive, proactive approach with problem-solving ability.

* Bonus: PA1/PA6 spraying licence, irrigation knowledge, or machinery certifications (training can be provided).
