There portfolio includes a diverse range of schemes, from sensitive heritage restorations to modern upgrades, delivered with a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and attention to detail.

The Role
My client are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based in our Bromley office, with regular site visits across London. You will play a key role in pricing refurbishment and heritage projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for refurbishment and heritage projects.

Reviewing drawings, specifications, and client requirements to produce accurate take-offs and bills of quantities.

Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.

*

Attending site visits and client meetings to understand project scope and requirements.

*

Working closely with the Contracts and Project Managers to ensure smooth project handovers.

*

Monitoring costs throughout tender and pre-construction stages to maintain profitability.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as an Estimator within construction, ideally with refurbishment and heritage project exposure.

*

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

*

Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

*

Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.

*

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

*

Strong communication and negotiation skills.
