Our client, a UK division of a globally established construction group, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their London-based team. Specialising in high-quality fitout and refurbishment across diverse sectors, our client is renowned for their transparent delivery methods, ethical business practices, and a strong commitment to quality and compliance.

Led by a seasoned UK Director with over 35 years of international construction experience, the team manages complex projects and multi-location workforces with professionalism and precision.

🔧 About the Role

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction process, contributing to the successful delivery of high-end fitout and refurbishment projects across the UK. You’ll work closely with the delivery and commercial teams to develop competitive tenders and accurate cost plans for complex, bespoke projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for fitout and refurbishment works

*

Analyse drawings, specifications, and scope documents

*

Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing

*

Collaborate with project managers and the commercial team on bid strategy

*

Attend tender reviews and contribute to risk assessments

*

Ensure all estimating work is in line with company policies and procedures

About You

*

Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction, fitout, or refurbishment sector

*

Strong knowledge of UK construction methods and regulations

*

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

*

Ability to interpret drawings and technical documents

*

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

*

Strong communication and negotiation skills
